This is actually a simple project that can transform a blank wall until worker's. If you choose to do yourself installation can cost as low as $300. However, if you're not comfortable doing it yourself and want to hire someone to help, you could end up spending around $3000 or more depending on the designer you choose.

A cheaper option you could look into would be a faux brick wall that could cover your existing fireplace. This would still give you the look of brick, but with an updated flair. Faux brick walls are durable and look exactly like the real thing, but our fraction of the cost.
